Was there ever a better venue for a street market than the bustling High Street of this historic city just off of the M3 in Hampshire?
The local workforce, the residents, the destination shoppers from the surrounding towns and villages and the legion of tourists from home and abroad, make this the perfect place for all manner of street markets.
On the first & third Sundays of each month from January to December, the High Street and Middle Brooke Street host a good selection of green and white gazebos, housing all manner of art, design, collectables and artisan wares.
You can buy all manner of assorted items and goodies. You might grab yourself a genuine antique work of art, some fifties haute couture or some jewellery that grandma used to wear.
What is certain though is that you’ll have a great day out strolling down memory lane.
